Jesus says that the times leading up to the end of the world will have more distress than at any other point in human history. Persecution and false teachers and natural disasters. Hatred and suffering and wars. And the end of what we see now is that God’s people die. Yet today God reminds us that in the end, his people win. We share his victory. The Saints are Triumphant! Everyone will know when the Lord comes down with the clouds and sends his angels to gather believers. And we will be with the Lord forever. God’s encouragement for us today comes from 1 Thessalonians 4.
